Since I've Been Gone

Hi everyone.  I know it's been a very long time since I've written anything on the blog or even posted anything.  To say the last year has been a bit difficult would be an understanding.  I separated from and then divorced my husband.  It was a mutual decision at the time, but very much difficult.  The strain from that alone stopped any creative juices from flowing.  Add on to it the additional life challenges and you've got one vacant house with a Muse who's on vacation. 

Not to mention I was actually about to deploy to Afghanistan, but at the last minute I found out that I wasn't going.  So that has also been taking up a big chunk of my time.  But now that I am not going to Afghanistan, I have decided to get out of the military so that I can stay home with my children.  And by home I mean in the states and not worry about leaving every other year.

I've have also decided to try publishing my Love Me Now story...after tweaking it a bit of course, so it has been taken off.  I am putting myself on a deadline.  One that I tend to finish and stick to.  And then I'm going to go searching for publisher. 

For all of you who may have checked back to see if I was still alive or would put you out of your misery with an update, I apologize for the sudden change.  And would like to thank you for all of the support you have shown me.  I started off thinking my imagination would be something a few people would read.  Not hundreds.

So for those of you that still check back to see what I have to say, check back and I'll make sure to update this blog at least 3 times a week.
